Today, 30 organisations coordinated by Cost of Living Action, have written to the Chancellor and to the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, impressing upon them the need to provide universal as well as targeted support on energy bills this winter, amidst findings that costs for consumers will rise higher than the 2022/23 peak caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
